Our programme is not fixed. We respond to exhibitions as they occur during the year, covering the arts, culture, history, etc. New members are always welcome.
Please contact the coordinators via the website, Exhibitionists group page.
On Tuesday 19th May, 5 of us attended the film at the Picture House Cinema about the explosive life of Frida Kahlo the Mexican artist which was reflected in the use of colour and composition in her paintings.
On Thursday 11th June, 8 of us visited Port Sunlight, starting with an Exhibition of the wide and impressive range of Liverpool artist Anthony Brown’s work at Bridge Cottage. This was followed by a visit to the Port Sunlight Museum which provides a very professional and detailed insight into the establishment and development of the workers village and next door offers an example of a typical workers cottage which gave them a living space and environment far ahead of its time.
Please note: We are taking a summer break and will be back with a new programme in September.
