The Walkers meet at 10.00am on the 4th Wednesday of the month for a 4 - 5 mile walk, followed by lunch at a nearby pub.

On Wednesday 28th October, the Walkers will meet at ‘The Boathouse Inn’, The Parade, Parkgate. (GR SJ275788, PC CH64 6RN). Our first trip to the newly fitted out ‘old favourite’. Good surfaces on the coast path, the Wirral Way, and the Parkgate waterfront.
Don’t forget to check the weather forecasts and dress sensibly, muck,s..t and rain are all a pain if you’re in the wrong gear, even if the temperature is good.
Remember your weather and gear checks as bad weather and a lousy route seem better when your body and feet feel comfortable. Look after your leaders and let us know if any of you would like (with help) to have a go at leading.
The usual reminder about footwear and waterproofs, possibly Sun cream.
